Bulk Google Play app lookup: 100 apps per request
Refreshing a large list of apps efficiently with /apps, in batches, with retries.
The call
curl -H "X-API-Key: $API_KEY" \ "https://apiapk.cc/api/v1/apps?ids=com.whatsapp,org.telegram.messenger"
For long lists use POST with a JSON body {"ids": [...]}. The answer has apps with the found records and not_found with the ids that are not in the index.
Batching in Node.js
const ids = (await fs.readFile("apps.txt", "utf8")).split(/\s+/).filter(Boolean);
for (let i = 0; i < ids.length; i += 100) {
const res = await fetch("https://apiapk.cc/api/v1/apps", {
method: "POST",
headers: { "X-API-Key": process.env.API_KEY, "Content-Type": "application/json" },
body: JSON.stringify({ ids: ids.slice(i, i + 100) }),
});
if (res.status === 429) { await new Promise(r => setTimeout(r, 2000)); i -= 100; continue; }
const data = await res.json();
// save data.apps; data.not_found lists unknown ids
}Cost and speed
One credit per requested app. On Pro (1,200 requests a minute) a list of 100,000 apps refreshes in a few minutes.
